August 30, 1861 the Italian government by intermediary of Mr Célestin Rossi, Capitaine of Artillery orders 12000 “similar to the model accepted by the Italian Ministry” deliverable 4000 at the end of December 1861, 4000 end Mars 1862 and 4000 at the end of May 1862 at the costs of 50 frs., Net, without discount, cash payable in Paris “rod included but independent”.
The inspection with the delivery of the known as weapons will be made in Paris for then being transported and being delivered to the Arsenal of Turin.

A new order is signed on May 8, 1862, for 10.000 revolvers, by Major Rossi (following a promotion of rank) identical to the preceding order. Deliverable in Turin at a rate of 2000 per month until December 1862, at the price of 49 frs.
Signed on May 8, 1862 in Paris and in?? June 1862 in Turin.
A last order of 50 placed on October 20, 1862, always by Major Rossi at the price of 49 frs.
A contract was signed on April 10, 1863 in Paris and Mai 1863 in Paris for the supply of parts of replacements

The barrel, the cylinder, the hammer, the trigger, the rod, the back sight, the mentonnier and the screws are out of steel.
The stem of the breech, the ring of the cap and the stopping of the cylinder are out of iron.
The breech, the door, the cap, the trigger guard, and the eyes of wood are out of cast iron.

LF 49611 with pistol “broken” above the LF on the with dimensions right
The “INVa. E. LEFAUCHEUX PATENTS SDGD (PARIS)” in oval and a kind “have of spade” on with dimensions the left.
